Today we are thankful for the rain, which began not too long after sun-up and gave us somewhat more than a tenth of an inch of watering; for the grasses, trees, mammals and birds who are our neighbors here; for our human neighbors here, soon-to-be-here, and dreaming-of-being-here; and for the opportunity to pursue our dreams in such beautiful surroundings and with such inspiring people.
