Brrr

Pre–dawn temperature: 15°. And yesterday was cloudy and bitter, temperatures in the 30s and low 40s, dank. Bah! On the other hand, early this morning the Manzano peaks had the lightest dusting of snow, just the teeniest touch. And hey: the birds love us for the seed and water; I had a greeting committee of jays awaiting my arrival.

Earlier this week, though, we were having frabjous weather: into the 70s! And it's supposed to warm up this weekend. And the flicker is hanging out on our front porch flag mount. So everything is quite excellent here!

PS: we’ve been sent some fantastic photos, which I'll be uploading this weekend. Stay tuned.
